This sweet potato frozen dessert is vegan, dairy-free, gluten-free, and all ingredients are carefully chosen for their sustainability, with each crop generating more benefit for the planet than it extracts, both as a plant and by its industry. Similarly, we believe food should be both rich in flavor and rich in nutrition. Life's too short for empty calories, empty promises, or taste-deficient "imitation" food. And life certainly doesn't need to get any shorter.

Ingredients: Sweet Potato, Maple Syrup, Wild Blueberries, Tahini (Ground Sesame Seeds), Chia Seeds (ALA Omega 3 source), Grapeseed Oil, Cinnamon, Cacao, Guar Gum, Carob Bean Gum, Sea Salt

Sweet Delivery or a Curbside Pick-Me-Up: For a limited time, we're offering free delivery every Sunday in Greater Worcester or Greater Boston for orders placed by Wednesday at 11 pm Eastern, and the always-free Curbside Pickup at the Worcester Regional Food Hub by appointment within 48 hours. Our delivery driving is done with efforts to limit carbon emissions. Our delivery emissions are also offset through investments in the Jari Pará conservation project preserving biodiversity and carbon-absorbing forest lands in Brazil.

The backstory: It's the end of a long day, exhausted, feeling the weight of humidity and the late summer sun radiating off the pavement. Despite long hours at work, and the 8th Zoom meeting of the day, Sweet still manages to go for a walk, imagining those long past treks in the mountains. Haggardly stepping inside, with shades still on from the setting sun, Sweet sees Sax there, ready for another music-making evening. The late-summer sun falls to the tune of the sweetest, tough-yet-tender Blues tunes...

This Sweet Potato Frozen Dessert won't make music (at least we haven't figured out the setup for that just yet... please email us if you do, we'd love to see it and would gladly start the Sweetness record label together). So in the meantime, we have you covered with our Sweet Summer Blues: Live! curated playlist on Tidal. Why Tidal? For one, they pay artists nearly 3x more than Spotify per stream. As an example, that simple decision (we listen to a lot of music...) supports our company benefit targets in line with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) #8: Decent Work and Economic Growth. If only a small difference, it is an effortless choice to make.

Let's talk waste: firstly, save the lids and collect them to make art! With our first run of pints, we're using a Flexstyle paper pint, which is made from 91% renewable materials and is recyclable where paper foodservice containers are accepted. In Massachusetts, that isn't very many places, so we're ordering 100% biodegradable containers for the next run, and are using 100% biodegradable materials for our sampling events. Even with ideal packaging of our products, some of our supplies come in single-use plastic wrap or plastic bags, so we're additionally committing to clean up waste, reduce our plastic footprint, and facilitate recycling through Empower.eco, which helps manage our team's personal plastic footprint, and creates opportunities for work and microentrepreneurship in un-banked communities globally, while cleaning up plastic waste in the areas hardest hit by environmental degradation, yet least responsible.

Join us and try our first flavor! Then we'd love it if you would leave a review on Facebook so we can amplify our mission!
